Our Story

For the past decade, my father (Paul Hido) and I (Kyle Hido) have been training in brazilian jiu-jitsu. After being a founding member of a Youngstown academy, and training all across the mid-west, my father had the idea for OhioBJJ.com. Through this site, we want to spread the word about the abundance of jiu-jitsu talent that exists in our state, and build a strong, state wide connection among all BJJ athletes in Ohio!

I followed a link to your site from Professor Sauer’s website. It showed that he is holding seminars in Youngstown on the 12th and 13th of September. I would like to attend one of those days but I am not a student within his or your academy. Does this seminar allow for students from other schools? I am a purple belt under Caique Elias living in Michigan. I would love to meet and learn from Professor Sauer.
thanks

It absolutely allows for students from other academies. I am not sure if there will be an online registration option for that seminar, but anyone is welcome at the door. Check the Seminars page for additional details.
